I would say that some of them are up to 5 years old. There was a picture of my house on there before the building work took place and that was 5 yrs ago. Also, the picture of my new house doesn't show the additions we've made to that and we've been there 5 yrs just gone. They are updating all the time though.
How old are the pictures seen on Google Maps? Wikimapia?
In GoogleEarth, the pictures of my city (Oporto, Portugal) were taken in 2004 鈥?one can tell by the buildings in construction.
Reply:depends on the area i think. but there is a 2 or three year old building near me and that is being constructed on these maps
Reply:The date (or the year at least) is usually on the corner of the maps.
