How often is google maps updated?

on street view?
How often is google maps updated?
im not sure but when i last looked at it (this winter) all of the trees still had green leaves...so.... it was at least updated last summer
Reply:The information on Google Maps comes from a lot of different sources, and there's no predictable schedule for when your town's information will be updated. It's not all updated at once. Each region is updated according to when the new data are available.

Reply:it depends on the place. but, it shows you the date at the bottom of the pick of when it was taken =)

Google has not even completed the first set of street views.
Reply:Not often enough. Street view is like some kind of obsession for me. (Not really, but you get the idea...)
