I've defined certain points on a Google Earth map for which I would like to overlay a simple graphic which will indicate the mileage radius (i.e. mileage/distance from a central point).
I'm unable to locate a way to do this using Google's Earth. There is a line/path tool which will give you the mileage between two points but I would like to find a way to do a mileage radius. Does anyone have suggestions or know how to do this?
Does Google Maps have a mileage radius tool besides the line/path tool?
I don't know about google earth but try this out:
www.wikimapia.org
This is the same thing as google earth but u need not download it.
If u want the same tool here click on the geotools option which appears when u keep ur pointer on the wikimapia which is present towards the upper left corner.
Reply:There is the GMaps API that you can use to do almost whatever you want with their data:
http://www.google.com/apis/maps/
However, you do need to know a little programming...
