Google Maps new feature Street View, whaen were those pictures taken?

The new maps on Google that allows a person to have a street view. My question is exactly what day were those pictures taken?

these pictures are taken on an ongoing basis. Google has two ways of doing this, they have a Google vehicle that goes around with either a 360 degree digital camera mounted to it taken pictures. They also have street teams and normal people that just go out and take pictures and submit them to google. when google verifies them then they go live.

The only way I can thing to narrow down say, your own street, is to zoom in and see if you remember what was in front of your house during that period.





I actually did this once for my parents' street It was within 2 weeks at the time, because their neighbor had just moved, and there were different cars in the driveway.
