What is the best way by car to get from belfast to romania? (I've looked at the google maps route already)?
I do this trip twice yearly Dover to Dunkirk follow E40 through to aachen belgium/ germany border follow the A3 Frankfurt am. Wurzburg. Regensburg and then the Austrian /German border.Follow road through Austria the new vienna underground bypass is now open. Dont forget to buy the toll or you pay 100 euro fine. On leaving Vienna look out for the Budapest road it is signposted which takes you through into Hungary. Dont forget the toll Remember you need to get through Budapest early like 06.00 am or you will be there forever.There are three border crossings which are all very easy . valea-Lui Mihai. Petea. And Oradea It takes us three days to travel Stopping once in Germany once in Hungary and then into Romania. Good luck any problems e-mail

If you go from Dublin you can get a ferry all the way to France which would avoid the need to go via england.
