Does the definition (clarity) vary because they don't want to release all the data/ they want to sell it, or is it just a question of time before all areas will have the same clarity?
Why does the definition for Google Earth maps vary in the UK and are they likely to improve in my area?
Clarity is definitely improving from release to release because you can see more in my area now than you could with earlier releases. All areas probably won't be covered e.g. military installations
Reply:Sorry I can't answer your specific question, but microsoft also have a version called Virtual Earth, my brother lives in the back of beyond and on Google it is just a blur but with Virtual Earth I can make out a fair bit of detail.
