Google maps GPS cannot trace my location ?

I am using a windows mobile. In that i use Google maps. In the google maps program, an option is ' use GPS ? ' and if i activate it, there is no difference. I have a GPRS connection, and it says ' My location " is currently not available

the GPS connection must really comes from your carrier and not from the google. and some cases, if location cannot be displayed or not available, it also means that your cellphone is not a high powered CP. take note: not all cellphones that has GPS feature can display the map. it will depend on the transmission from your service provider and your CP.


it had happened to a friend who has a GPS equipped CP but it won't display the map. he could always receive, not available, or out of coverage, while mine can be displayed right way in a matter of seconds. complete details of the place, like the name of the shop where i am, the address, tel # of that shop and the exact map and location. also it will display the compass like N87 W65 S80 E90, something like that. you can also request surroundings and near area within the range of 1km or 2km. then if you want it to be printed, you just saved the location and send it to your PC for printing. or you may bring it to the photo developing center. (it's what i have lol)
